Lil Durk surprised many last week after announcing he would be bringing Migos to the Chi to film their latest music video.
“New sh*t wit @MigosATL video gone be in ChiRaq #lilnigg*,” he wrote.
Durk is again raising eyebrows after announcing the location he plans to film the visual.
“Migos can come to oblock and shoot our video,” he wrote on Twitter.
Migos replied to Durk’s tweet, writing, “who said we can’t lol.”
Durk responded to Migos, writing, “a nobody.”
O’Block, or Parkway Gardens, is Chief Keef’s old stomping grounds. There is a heavy Black Disciple presence on the set.
Lil Durk may be bringing Migos to O’Block as a diss to Chief Keef.
Chief Keef and Migos infamously engaged in a war of words in December 2013. Both parties have continued to direct shots at each other ever since.
Sosa warned Migos against coming to Chiraq.
But Migos weren’t concerned about Sosa’s threats and made their scheduled Dec. 21 concert performance at Adriannas. They even filmed themselves navigating South Side Chicago. Migos boasted they were able to walk the streets with their jewelry on.
Migos sneak dissed Chief Keef in their Chicago vlog as someone can be heard, saying “Sosa and them” at the 1:40 mark in the video.
Offset responded, “F**k, they talking bout.”
Chief Keef didn’t let Migos slide with the remark.
“So I heard nigg*s Came to a nigg* City and Knew I was in rehab! How you didn’t know And da whole world Know where da judge sent me,” Chief Keef wrote on Twitter.
Sosa underwent 90s days of drug treatment at a California-based private facility a few months ago.
Chief Keef went on to downplay Migos’ street clout.
“nigg*s Fake As f*ck Walkin Round like
“nigg*s think we beef because of my tweet No it’s Jus redtape on your street!” the “Bang 3” rapper wrote.
Sosa wrote he doesn’t engage in publicity stunts and boasted he is about that life, citing a shooting incident in DC.
“But Aye World Get Them nigg*s Some Publicity Stunts nigg*s love Publicity Stunts. I don’t do all dat I turn up Ask DC,” he wrote.
Chief Keef purports he and his Glo Gang crew shot up the Stadium nightclub in Washington D.C. during his Finally Rich Tour on June 30, 2012.
This incident was revealed after Sosa and D.C. rapper Shy Glizzy briefly exchanged heated words on Twitter in early December.
Glizzy messaged Chief Keef on Twitter, writing, “who made that bus glo up?”
Sosa responded, writing, “Who shot The Stadium up Doe? That sh*t Should be In DC History #GLOGANG.”
Sosa said he was not putting his beef with Migos on wax. He wrote he would much rather handle their differences in person.
“Finna hit The studio What y’all On? And no I don’t make diss Songs! Why do dat and You’ll see em Eventually,” he wrote.
Chief Keef ended his rant, hinting Migos can’t afford to beef with him.
“18years 6 million! House 7kSqFt live there by myself not with Gang. 4 cars, realest jewels, And my own Label. Now make Comparisons
“Dey splitting they PayChecks I’m giving PayChecks Str8 up!” he wrote.
Sosa and Migos came to blows in December after Sosa accused the “Hannah Montana” rappers of sneak dissing.
Rumors began to circulate Dec. 5 that Migos’ newly released track “Brokanese” was a sneak diss at Chief Keef.
“Heard Migos sneak dissin No Talkin,” Sosa wrote.
Offset responded a short time later with a direct statement, writing he would meet Sosa face to face in “Chiraq.”
“Will b in Chiraq Next Week Pull Up @ChiefKeef,” he wrote.
The remaining members Quavo and Takeoff issued a statement, writing, “Sneak Diss Who?? PULL UP!! #DNTTWEET PULL UP!!”
Sosa mocked the Atlanta-based rappers, writing, “Lol ‘Pull Up’ #CallMeSosaSanta.”
Sosa’s tweets turn a bit more sinister with threats of violence. He goes on to mock a line from Migos’ song “Young Rich nigg*s.”
“What they say money, power, Respect? Well bitch It’s money, & power with the Tec!” he wrote.
Sosa continued his threats in the form of rhymes.
“I got Some nigg*s With a Bunch of Tools they Come thru Screwing sh*t Like moppers do!
“Like don’t be Talkin when my choppa do Turn ya Block to Lil B bitch Wounton soup!” he wrote.
But some things are better left unsaid.
A known rule many in the Chi live by is the “No Talking” rule.
“Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,” he wrote.
Sosa later clowns and accuses the Migos of wearing fake jewelry.
“Fake Ass Jewels On all my dead Homies Tho!” he wrote.
Migos issued a final statement saying they entertain money, not bullsh*t.
“Migos don’t sneak diss and don’t entertain bullsh*t. We entertain money #YRN2 #QC,” they wrote.
